Back on Break

So, here we are again. Thanksgiving is almost here! I got out of classes Monday and now for the rest of the week, nothing but relaxing. I turned in my last Computer Science homework today.
I know I promised more photos and they're coming just not day! I still need to transfer my camera and iPhone pics to my laptop. Instead I just wanted to enlighten you with some news.

First things first: North Korea vs. South Korea. It's funny how interest change over the years. Five years ago I could have probably cared less about what happened in that part of the world and now it's forefront on my mind. The whole world is watching this development because it affects so many people due to treaties and agreements. For those who don't know North Korea fired over 100 missiles on a South Korean island killing 2 military officers and injuring several civilians. In return South Korea fired 80 missiles in North Korean territory. This could start the Korean War all over again! And who's going to get involved? Now you see, this affect America because we have a defense treaty with South Korea, so if this gets more serious we're going to have to take action. But we can't let our guard down any where else. If we let our sites drift away from Iraq then they will invade Israel. Also, by getting involved with North Korea we'll also have China and India on our tails.
Now this makes me wonder.. is this the start of the end? I sure hope not. But it will be interesting to see where this goes.

Next! Technology news. I saw this on a tweet from Japan_Blogs.

Acer launches its own 10″ Windows tablet!

This just looked sooo awesome! It not only has a touchscreen but it's own full keyboard. AND! It's so thin and light, weighing less than 1kg. Now if this didn't cost an arm and leg I would definitely be putting this on my Christmas list.

People in the News:
Now, I don't usually keep up with the latest Hollywood trends, but these past couple of days I've been looking at whose dating who and who's wearing what. Which made me realize how different we are from other countries, which is very interesting in itself.
Now in my discoveries of this I ran across even more interesting news. The Far East Movement will be performing at MAMA which is a big music event held in Korea. Of course many artist won't be there that probably should *Ahem* SM Artist, but I think with the inclusion of artist from around the world, MAMA will be an even bigger hit than last year. Hopefully I can catch it live. AllKpop will be streaming it though their site.
Another person worth mentioning - Arden Cho! I've heard of her but never really payed that much attention sadly which was a fault on me! Very famous person!
I first discovered her through Royal Pirates (which btw are getting ready to debut officially pretty soon). Very talented and Successful!

That was just a few things that I ran across today. Hopefully tomorrow I can get those pictures up. Until then that's all for now!
Jya Mata!
